HR Director, Construction | £78 – £90,000 plus excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s growth and sustainability goals. Drive initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent in a competitive construction industry.
- Oversee employee relations activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment. Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, promoting a culture of open communication and conflict resolution.
- Work closely with recruitment teams to identify staffing needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and facilitate leadership development initiatives.
- Lead the performance management process, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans. Ensure fair and consistent application of performance standards across the organization.
- Collaborate with finance and executive teams to design competitive and equitable compensation and benefits packages.
- Regularly review and update the company’s compensation structure to remain competitive in the market.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices are compliant. Mitigate legal risks by implementing and enforcing consistent HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Director or senior HR leadership role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated success in implementing HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
