We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join an international publishing company. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization’s human resources strategies and initiatives across multiple locations. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of global HR practices, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics effectively.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization’s overall strategy and comply with local laws and regulations in various countries.
Collaborate with senior management to create and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent globally.
Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless integration process for new hires.
Advise and support managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
Develop compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable, and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Design and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities across the organization.
Manage employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment, immigration, labour laws, and data privacy in each country of operation.
Monitor HR metrics and analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry best practices and global HR trends to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative in its HR practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree in HR or a relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR) is preferred.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role in a multinational company, preferably in the publishing or media industry.
In-depth knowledge of global HR practices, labour laws, and regulations in multiple countries.
Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and experience in managing the full recruitment cycle.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with employees, managers, and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related software applications.
Ability to analyse HR metrics and generate reports for management review.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Flexibility to travel internationally as required.
